Four Bench Press Mistakes That Are Killing Your Numbers?

1. Bouncing the bar off your chest. Letting the bar crash into your sternum and using the rebound is not a rep, it is a way to skip the most important range of motion and invite injury. Lower in 2 to 3 seconds, pause for a full second, then press. If you cannot do that, the weight is too heavy.
